High Point

Saltaire was one of only a handful of developers and builders in the region selected to build home collections in Seattle’s High Point neighborhood in West Seattle. Thanks to its innovative, sustainable design, High Point has been recognized with numerous industry accolades including “Best Master Planned Community” and the “Show Your Green” award. In 2007, High Point was one of only five projects chosen worldwide to receive the Urban Land Institute’s prestigious Global Awards for Excellence. In the neighborhood’s first phase, Saltaire developed and built 27, four-star Built Green townhomes. Interiors included recycled wood countertops, low-VOC paint, tankless hot water heaters, recycled insulation and extra low-e windows. In addition, Saltaire participated in the Built Green Model Home project, incorporating a solar hot water heating system, and many additional energy efficient elements into the collection’s model home.
